Aniston: Women don't need men to have kids

When it comes to the debate of single mothers and their kids I'm neither for or against this. You might think that it's just me being chicken but I can see the benefits of having a STABLE  father figure in a kids life . However, not everyone is blessed to be given a father who will support them regardless of the situation (with the mother or any thing else that crops up in life.)

Jennifer Aniston's new film The Switch takes on this idea but in a complete and different way. Peep the video below for the trailer...



In a recent interview Jennifer Aniston made the statement "Women are realising more and more that they don't have to settle with a man to have a child". These are very strong words from the 40-something actress who at has neither a man or kids. But is she wrong for thinking this way or is it a plea to get everyone talking about her new film?

New video: Alesha Dixon wants a Drummer Boy [video]

Alesha Dixon has been working very hard in the studio and now she’s back with her latest video for ‘Drummer Boy’. This latest single is off her new album which is due later this year. 

“This single, for me, is an event.  When you hear the drums it makes you want to move.  It’s an empowering song where the women are on top!  It felt like the perfect song to kick start the album with” says Dixon about her new single.

New film: Takers *UPDATED*

Check out this new film Takers that will be hitting out cinema screens real soon. I'm a BIG fan of gangsta films so I def going to watch this in the cinema when it comes out over here. The film also stars T.I, Fast and Furious Paul walker, Matt Dilon and recent controversial star Chris Brown. Maybe this is the kind of thing that Chris Brown needs to take off the attention from that very night that happened in February with him and Rihanna. Anyway, it looks a lil' low budget to me so we'll see how well it does in it's opening week. Anyone else find it weird to hear Idris Alba aka Stringer from The Wire with an english accent? lol I know he's from the UK but I always hear him with American one.

OMDZ! I heard about this film over a year ago and it's finally coming to past! Takers will be hitting a cinemas screen near us (in the UK) very soon! The release is 17th Spetember 2010! All I need to do now is get ready for the popcorn

Love him or hate him Kanye West sure does know how to get people talking about him (in the media/press and our everyday lives). After last week's fiasco of him one joinging Twitter (errr are you following me? Do so now! lol) and then only then following one person! To be honest, I rate West the reason being is that he's a branding machine! Everyone knows who he is and what he does. Although, the whole Tayloe Swift gate didn't do him any favours it looks like Mr West is going back to his first love - MUSIC! Peep the portrait for his latest track 'Power' below....

Why did I get married too? *UPDATED*

I've just found out that Why Did I Get Married Too? is set for a release in the UK for September 3rd 2010! Even though I've already seen it I think I might go to watch it at the pictures!

For the past week or so the one name on everyone's lips has been new singer Shardinay. Now whether this is for good or bad purposes I'll leave that up to you to decide once you've watched the videos below. As good a singer Shardinay is she might just have what it takes to make it in the industry.
