So can you guys remember when I was saying that this film was an all star cast? Well if you don't have a look at this blog post "The secret life of bees". So my sis and I went to go and see the film tonight and it was AMAZING!! I absolutely loved the film!! I'm definitely going to purchase this on dvd. I didn't go there with any expectations . . . well, except that I wanted the film to be worth th £6.60 I spent on it! lol I'm really not the type of girl who cries at movies (GANSTA and STOOSHY lol private joke!) BUT a lil' tear formed while watching the movie I'm not going to say what part lol don't want to ruin it for ya! It pulled at the heart strings, good wholesome fun, just simply a great film.

For anyone who hasn't watched it yet: Men take your girl (she'll love it, so will you), Girls go with your man or even better your (female) friends for a night out with the girls!

A Job or Career?

Was watching Chris Rockwhen he mention this!



Previously I had a clip about what Chris rock thinks the dfferences are between those that have a job and those that have a career. The clip above is the closest thing I could get to it ...

There are some people who have a job then those who have a career. Chris Rock feels like he has a career because he is able to do something that he truly loves. COMEDY! Now those who have a job it's a little different. They get up and go to work do what they have to and then go home. They don't partiulary like it but it pays the bills. Me personally, I don't feel like I could do that. I'm so passionate about what I do that if I did anything else I would feel like i was settling (I'm not judging that's how I feel!) I want to be able to go to work everyday (even if I did have 1/2 hour break lol) and be happy about where I'm at. Where I have chosen to work should be GOD ORDAINED! What I mean by that is. . . wherever I'm working it needs to be a part of God's plan for MY LIFE! It's not about doing something that's not goin to help you reach the goal!!

**Winter Winderland**

Winter Wonderland is here again!!! I'm sooooo excited!!! It's in Hyde Park (London) and is completely FREE!!!! You only have to pay for the other attractions!! It could be part of the plans for my birthday (I don't know yet). Winter wonderland is going to be here from 22nd Novemeber - 4th January 2009 (the date on the pic is wrong! lol).

Book Corner

I think everyone can remember when they were in school and had the book corner. If you didn't have one where did you read your books while at school? I'm really intrigued . . . and please don't say the library because that's oblivious!! lol

The book corner for some was where they first got that love of reading. Unfortunately I didn't catch on to this, I was a late bloomer! lol It's only been in the past year that I would say that I've loved reading. I was always the person who said "I'm not interested in reading" or "There's nothing interesting to read about!". Now that's all changed. I'm now able to get into a good book, really easily! It's now something I can add to my hobbies list (wait to people have hobbies anymore? Blog about that later lol).

Well these next books are ones I'm really excited to read!



I've wanted this book for ages! Since may this year I've now started it and it's good. The review will come later . . . Now this next book I'm really excited about. This is because I've read the previous three and LOVED THEM!! This next installment I'm hoping will not disappoint! Again the review will come later . . .

Back in D Day N New 2Day (14) "Homegrown Talent"

Wow!!! Hasn't it been a CRAZY year? Doesn't anyone else feel like this year has gone really fast?? Well as another year approaches so does another edition of BD2D. Yes this is the very last one for this year BUT don't worry it will be here next year (with a lil' differences! lol). So I was thinking . . . how can I make this edition special than all the rest (not that the others weren't special lol)?

Seeing as the first edition of BD2D was all about the Americans I wanted this edition to be about Homegrown talent! So . . . it could end with a BANG!! This month I'm hitting you with three YES THREE (lol) new tracks. The best thing about it is the fact they're all from the UK! Yeah baby! lol

The first ol' skool track is from Omar. Now many people have heard this track before but they haven't seen the vid. The song is very laid back and it's just a classic.

Omar's "Nothing like this" BIG TRACK!!! OL' SKOOL BABY!!! lol



Now this next track is by an artist I'm not too fond of BUT the track is soooo hottt!! I remember when this track came out everyone was thinking how did Jamelia get a song with Beanie Man? Anyway, this track is called "Money".



Now these next videos are nothing but HOTT!! I love all three!! The first is by Master Shortie and is called "Dead end". Born and raised in London this guy is not doing things by the rule book.



Chipmunk has been around for a while now. He recently got nominated for BET's Hip Hop Awards Best UK Act. His latest track "Beast" not only shows his lyrical skills but how much he has grown as an artist. Check out Chipmunks new vid!



The last and final vid for this edition is by far not the least! Filly is her name and singing is her game! lol SOOOOOO LAME! That wasn't meant to rhyme. This song "Out of Control" is the second track of her LP. Enjoy . . .
